Residential Services

Building a custom home is a significant investment, and choosing the right partner is crucial. With our proven track record of excellence and a detailed plan to streamline the custom home process, we're here to make your vision a reality.

Our Services

  • Building your dream home requires careful planning and attention to detail. Here's our process to ensure a smooth and successful project:

    1. Think Big:
Before we begin, on your own, create your wish list of key elements that would make this addition most functional for you and your family.

    2. Reach Out:
Contact us for an initial meeting to discuss your plan. Provide as much information as possible as early as you can! If you have floor plans drawn up already, great! If you just have pictures of exteriors and screenshots from Pinterest, that’s a good start! The more detail we can get from our initial interactions, the more prepared we can be to serve you efficiently and effectively. If you already have construction plans for your project, we can skip a few steps ahead!

    3. Show Us:
After our initial contact, we’ll set a time to have you in at our office to meet with our pre-construction team and hear out your 30,000ft ideas. We’ll take some notes, give our input from a building standpoint,  and talk through the process of going from concept to finished construction.

    4. A/E Services:
After this meeting we’ll establish a proposal for Architectural and Engineering services as necessary. If the proposal is acceptable to you, we’ll have you in once more to go over, in more fine detail, desired floor plan layouts and exterior features to establish a solid base to start the design process.

    5. Sit Back:
Once we’ve established a solid scope of work, developed a set of Construction Drawings, and gathered the necessary information for estimating, a Sunco team member will get to work compiling information to assemble a Project Proposal. The Project Proposal will include a detailed written scope of work outlining material and labor that are included (as well as what’s excluded), material allowances and budgets for open-ended items, and the total estimated cost of the project.

    6. Let's Go!
Once a team member presents the Project Proposal to you and you feel the price for services is acceptable for the scope of work outlined, a contract for work can be issued and we’ll get you on the schedule to start building your dream home!

    4. Sit Down:
